Kids on the yard is a spectacular tutoring program. My daughter started out on a low level of reading. After working with her tutor she was on her reading level. Her tutor is amazing and works very well with her she even knows when my daughter isn't on top of her game and can get her back on track. I love the relationship they have. This program is very helpful because I didn't know what else to do. My heart goes out to everybody that teaches. I would recommend kids on the yard for a great experience for your child/children. You will not be disappointed with their services. I am excited to continue with them. I told my daughter 's tutor she was stuck with her forever that's how amazing the progress is. I was a little nervous because of it being on zoom but my nerves went away when I saw how much better things had gotten. My daughter is going to the third grade and is right on her reading level. I can't wait to see what happens this year. Thank you Kids on the yard for everything you have done for us so far. I can't wait to start the new school year with you guys

I've been very impressed by my interactions with Sarah Katrina, the owner of Kids on the Yard. She has always been extremely generous with her time on the phone, and her advice & guidance. She followed-up promptly with emails, took the time to really get to know our daughter's new school and the head of school there, and generally provided an excellent, very high-quality service in the context of the Shadow Teacher we were seeking. Kids in the yard has been great! I was a little nervous to have my daughters tutoring virtually, but it has worked out great all around. It’s convenient, it’s the perfect amount of time so my daughter stays engaged, the teacher is great and has created their own bond with my daughter and she loves seeing them. On top of that I have seen good progress with my daughters reading and in just a few short weeks!!

I’m so bless we found Kids on the yard. When I tell you Mrs. Sarah and her stuff is the best.I mean just that. From day one of meeting Mrs. Sarah I knew I was going to be working with them even with me having 3 other appointments set up to meet other tutors. I told Mrs. Sarah what my son was dealing with from his last teacher and she knew the perfect instructor for him. When I tell you Mrs. Lindsey affected him in so many ways. I mean just that. Although we was still dealing with Covid-19 and everything was computer base she did her job and she did it well. She pushed him to be confident in his reading ability and when he would make a mistake she would say “wait wait let’s slow it down and look at the word a little”. She would break it down with him and he would get it. Not onetime did she make him feel like he couldn’t do it. My son was so excited when I would tell him “okay, we have Mrs. Lindsey today”. He would respond with “Why can’t I have her every day? She’s my favorite teacher mom”. Hearing that for the first time warmed my heart. So with all that my baby has learned from his Mrs. Lindsey I am glad to say he’s being tested to be put in a gifted program because his FAST test scores are over 900 in both reading and math. He has excelled beyond the end of the school year goals and his favorite subject is reading. Every book he’s brought home has been autobiographies. Nothing less than 1000 pages. Thank you Kids on the yard for helping me make my baby believe in himself again. I definitely would be using you all again.

My daughter fell behind in reading due to the Pandemic online classes. I found Kids on the Yard and the turn around was AMAZING! The teacher and the organization really care about the Educational and emotional well being of the child. The are committed to seeing the child succeed and my favorite part is THEY MEET THE CHILDREN WHERE THERE ARE ACADEMICALLY. There was no pressure when my daughter had her sessions. She would be excited to speak with her teacher. I use the word teacher instead of tutor because I felt how invested our teacher was with our daughter. It didn't feel like a routine or another kid to tutor. It was a genuine desire to support and watch my little girl grow in her reading from the Teacher. Thank you Kids on the Yard. My daughter has Ms. Tammy as her tutor and really likes her. I believe she started getting tutored mid November, 2022. At first we opted to just have her get tutored in math cause she was very behind with a score 50% on her first progress report. We just got her second progress report and she's up to 76% in math. I'm so proud of her and so appreciate all Ms. Tammy's hard work with her along with the support from kids on the yard. Strongly recommend!!

My son LOVES his tutor ms. Beth and Kids on the Yard. It has been the best fit for my son and I can’t say enough good things about them. It is absolutely amazing that these teachers are so invested in each child they tutor. After the first meeting where I told them about my sons challenges and what my expectations and goals were for him I have never had to check up on them or remind them. They are consistent and we have been with them since August and we will keep using them until he ages out LOL. He now has a love for reading and math that he never had before and he wants to push himself to impress his tutor. As Kids on the Yard requires all their tutors to be ex teachers or current teachers you can trust that your child is learning and they have the experience to handle each type of personality.

We searched for the perfect fit for our child she has special needs/ seizures which at times makes learning difficult. She is also homeschooled through online charter. We and are so pleased with Kids on the Yard! The entire team is so kind and professional. Sarah Katrina was so welcoming. It is amazing to see our daughter reading again after just a few sessions and her pitch and pronunciation has improved as well. If you're looking for a tutor kids on the yard is the way to go. My first/second grader was over school, we had a horrible first grade teacher who gave up on him and placed him in the back of the classroom. He hated school by the end of first grade. We did summer school, he met a teacher there who helped him. We also started tutoring with kids on the yard. By the beginning of second grade he was interested in a new year and by the middle he was loving school again! Kids on the yard had a huge impact on our sons relationship with learning and we cannot thank them enough!!

Kids on the Yard are a wonderful company. I had the opportunity to speak with the team and their dedication is incredible. Their focus is for the children to succeed in school and for the parents to have a peace of mine. It's also incredible how they work with other schools to build a complement foundation. As well having tutors that were once teachers and many years of experience under their belt. The best part is the tutors make you feel comfortable, safe and fun without knowing we are learning at the same time whether if it's either in person or virtual.
